Ward Executive Committees (WEC)

The Ward Executive Committees (WEC) are established at the electoral ward level, under the general direction of the Sub-Branch. Each WEC consists of 16 elected officials, including the Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Organizing Secretary, and representatives of various community groups, such as women, youth, elders, interfaith groups, and others. The WEC is responsible for promoting party policies, recruiting members, raising funds, organizing programs, and ensuring party discipline at the ward level. They meet at least once a month and submit annual activity reports. Gender balance is required, and decisions are made through consensus or vote.
