National Governing Council

The National Governing Council (NGC) is the second-highest organ of RAP, serving as a standing committee of the NDC. Meeting at least once annually, the NGC plays a critical role in processing policies, monitoring Party activities, and implementing recommendations from the NDC.

Comprised of key Party officials, including members of the NEC, NAC, Parliamentary Group, and representatives from various RAP Leagues and County Committees, the NGC ensures strategic decision-making and effective governance. It is responsible for reviewing and approving Party budgets, policies, and reports, and for establishing specialized committees to further RAP’s mission and objectives.
